As much as I loved the freedom and adventure of traveling alone around Spain and Lisbon, my day time touring resulted in an obscene number of boring pictures of buildings, churches, parks, etc. I realized if you ask a stranger to snap a picture of you in front of a landmark, the picture becomes (slightly) more interesting and relevant, and that most people around you are tourists themselves, hoping you could snap a picture of them in return. This led to a series of the most awkward pictures a camera could capture... a series of solo shots of yours truly.
